Amir is the Vice President of Operations for MMA Global Advisors where he leads real estate project and financial management activities, and social sector client acquisitions, program management and strategic advisory services. Amir is also responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the business, including financial management, business development, strategic planning, and human resource management. 

 

Amir has provided advisory services to leading social sector organizations in the areas of strategic planning, operations management, budgeting, financial controls, corporate governance, program design and management, business development, and business modeling. Amir has significant experience with proposal and grant writing, fund raising, project planning and management, client team recruitment and management, client relationship management and project assessments and reporting. 

 

Amir has designed and led several international programs that promote cross-cultural dialogue and collaboration around critical public policy issues, including inclusive economic planning, media freedom and ethics, and youth development, including the Egyptian American Dialogue Initiative, American & Egyptian Youth Network, Social Entrepreneurship & Corporate Responsibility Knowledge Forum, Egypt Economic Reform Forum and Egypt Media Forum. 

 

Amir has successful led organizational transformations, including facilitating the strategic planning process, stewarding conflict resolution among critical stakeholders, developing data-driven operating systems and procedures to improve performance tracking and productivity, and revising financial reporting systems to increase transparency and accountability. He also has experience conducting program specific market research, cost-benefit analyses, and resource assessments, and has worked with numerous non-profit and multilateral organizations to develop concepts into flagship programs.

 

 

Amir earned his MBA from George Washington University (GWU) in 2012 with a concentration in Finance and Strategic Management. He received the MBA Leadership Award, Strategic Management Outstanding Student Award and President Knapp Fellowship for Entrepreneurial Service Learning Award. Amir earned his B.S. in Finance and International Business from GWU in 2003.
